The candidate will maintain patient records, monitor profiles for allergies and interactions, and support policy development and accreditation processes in a fast-paced setting. Retail experience preferred; Florida license required; strong attention to detail and stress management skills are essential.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Holds current State of Florida license to practice pharmacy.
• Prefer more than 2 years retail pharmacy experience.
• Must be neat and clean.
• Able to remain functional in situations of stress.

Responsabilidades

• Dispense drugs, chemicals, biologicals, pharmaceuticals and controlled substances.
• Adhere to policies and procedures; assist in development.
• Review patient profiles for allergies, interactions and compatibility.
• Maintain records for patient charges and supplies.
• Control requisition and dispensing processes; verify receipts.
• Support supervision of pharmacy staff and licensure/accreditation efforts.
• Maintain medication storage areas and stock of commonly used pharmaceuticals.
• Strictly document controlled substances distribution and usage.
• Place orders with wholesalers and process transactions per policy.
• Compound and dispense medications per laws and policies.
• Check prescriptions for reasonable dosage and compatibility.
• Provide professional knowledge to ensure safe drug therapy.
• Involve in Performance Improvement activities.
• Identify and report risk management issues.
• Adhere to safety and hazardous materials policies.
