Job summary

The Dispensing Pharmacist 2 role is onsite at the CenterWell Dispensing Center in Orlando, FL. You will oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications and interpret complex orders to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulations.

This position requires a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, FL pharmacist license, and ability to participate in federal prescription programs. Strong communication, computer skills, and collaborative problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Ability to solve problems and encourage collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare prescriptions through a highly automated system.
• Check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Work with fellow health care team members.
• Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy.
• Process and check Braille and Talking Vial orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Research medication issues.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
