Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital York in York, PA, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Pharmacist for Per Diem shifts, including one weekend per month with potential weekday work. Compensation is $68.00 per hour.

You’ll support drug distribution, central operations and IV admixture, and provide clinical input in a fast-paced hospital setting. Minimum qualifications include state licensure with current licensure; BLS if required by state.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.
• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or hospital pharmacy residency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
