Job summary

Summa Health Akron City Campus is seeking a full-time pharmacist for 40 hours per week with rotating 1st and 2nd shifts. You will ensure safe and effective medication preparation and use, and practice pharmacy in line with laws and hospital policy.

You will collaborate with the patient care team, communicate clearly, maintain patient confidentiality, and support cost-saving initiatives while adapting to evolving reimbursement targets.

• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with healthcare staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and department records.
• Self-directed to execute responsibilities within a team.
• Interact with diverse patient populations with empathy and respect.
