Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an Intern - Pharmacy at the Akron City campus. This PRN position involves assisting with preparation, filling, and distribution of medication orders to patient care areas, while engaging in educational activities with didactic pharmacy education.

Qualified candidates must be enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy with licensure track and hold a current Ohio intern license. Strong communication and teamwork within the pharmacy and care teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited School of Pharmacy with licensure track.
• Currently hold an Ohio pharmacy intern license.
• Ability to communicate with pharmacists, nurses and physicians in person, by phone, and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, filling, and distribution of medication orders and pharmacy supplies to appropriate patient care areas.
