Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required; Bachelor's in pharmacy
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain accuracy
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred; strong customer service skills
• Second language ability beneficial; knowledge of math basics

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with high accuracy
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure compliance with all laws including HIPAA
• Maintain professional image and pharmacy standards
• Know trade area, customers and competition
• Create positive pharmacy department image through service and cooperation
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory, pricing, and budgeting
• Maintain records for legal compliance and company policies
• Keep equipment and signage in good condition
• Ensure proper handling of all pharmacy products and narcotics
• Use accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits
• Maintain documentation and reports as required
• Keep staff trained on use of policies and equipment
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Ensure timely product returns and proper equipment maintenance
• Verify and organize policy manuals and reference materials
