Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and perform basic math calculations.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers
• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA)
• Maintain a professional image through appearance, conduct and attitude and the pharmacy's standards
• Achieve knowledge of the trade area, its customers and competition
• Create a positive pharmacy department image with strong service and cooperation
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, records, security and budgets
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and comply with company policy
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources
• Ensure all accuracy tools are used properly
• Maintain records necessary for legal compliance and reporting
• Keep a clean, neat work area and professional appearance
• Handle product returns timely per policy
• Maintain and service equipment; ensure working condition
• Organize policy manuals and state laws; ensure staff knowledge
• Display proper signage in all areas
• Pursue ongoing pharmacy skills development
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
