Kroger is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will fulfill prescription needs, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulations while maintaining a professional pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and active state licensure required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure.
• Strong math, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accurate dispensing.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company dress standards.
• Develop knowledge of trade area, customers and competition.
• Foster a positive pharmacy department image through service and teamwork.
• Monitor inventory, record keeping, security, and scheduling per policy.
• Maintain records for controlled substances and ensure compliance with audits.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Utilize accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits as required.
• Keep all policy manuals and state laws up to date and understood by staff.
• Ensure proper signage and ongoing staff education on procedures.
• Continually broaden pharmacy knowledge and skills.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
