Job summary

VytlOne in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Part Time Staff Pharmacist at our TMH Retail Pharmacy location to support outpatient care and patient transitions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.

VytlOne is currently recruiting for a Part Time Staff Pharmacist at our TMH Retail Pharmacy location, in Tallahassee, FL. This is a unique opportunity to practice outpatient pharmacy in a model that integrates the pharmacy into the patient care transition model.

Responsibilities

• Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
• Compounds medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, if applicable.
• Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
• Enters data such as patient name, prescribed medication, and cost, to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Current licenses in good standing to practice pharmacy in the state of Florida.
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
