Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a reliable Pharmacy Technician to join Big Bend Cares Pharmacy in Tallahassee, FL. This full-time role supports pharmacists, processes prescriptions, and delivers friendly service in a clinic-based setting inside Big Bend Cares.

Hours are 8:30am–5pm with pay of $22–$25/hour depending on experience and certifications. A comprehensive benefits package is offered as part of a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active FL Pharmacy Technician license.
• PTCB certification preferred; VytlOne will assist in getting certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in providing compliant pharmacy services.
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately.
• Provide compassionate and attentive customer service.
• Answer telephones expediently and courteously.
• Operate POS and ring sales accurately.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions.

Big Bend Cares provides assistance to people living with HIV and conducts HIV prevention and education programs to the general community. Big Bend Cares is the only AIDS Service Organization (ASO) in the eight counties of Area 2B and serves HIV positive individuals in all 8 counties. Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently
• Provide compassionate and attentive customer service
• Answer telephones expediently and courteously
• Operate POS and ring sales accurately
• Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions
• Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner
• Think and act proactively
• Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times
• Accurately and efficiently handle other job duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Current/Clear FL Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum of 2 years' experience preferred
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
• Nationally certified by PTCB is a PLUS (VytlOne will assist in getting your PTCB)
• Acting in a kind, confidential, compassionate manner isrequired
