Job summary

Big Bend Cares Pharmacy in Tallahassee is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join the clinic-based team in a setting operated by VytlOne. Hours are 8:30am-5pm with pay between $22 and $25 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.

The role supports pharmacists and helps deliver patient-centered services within a mission-driven organization. Requirements include a Florida Pharmacy Technician license, a high school diploma, and 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Current/Clear FL Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred
• Ability to operate pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
• PTCB certification is a plus (VytlOne assists with obtaining it)
• Kind, confidential and compassionate conduct is required

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with accurate, timely, compliant pharmacy services
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately
• Provide compassionate and attentive customer service
• Answer telephones promptly and courteously
• Operate POS and ring sales accurately
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
• Complete tasks in an organized, efficient manner
• Handle other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently
• Provide compassionate and attentive customer service
• Answer telephones expediently and courteously
• Operate POS and ring sales accurately
• Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions
• Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner

• Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times
• Accurately and efficiently handle other job duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Current/Clear FL Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
• Nationally certified by PTCB is a PLUS (VytlOne will assist in getting your PTCB)
• Acting in a kind, confidential, compassionate manner isrequired
