Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for The Pharmacy at Thibodaux Regional. This on-site role features a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30am–6:00pm, with no weekend shifts, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to advance in a Fortune-500–backed healthcare environment.

Candidates must hold an active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license and have 2+ years of experience. CPhT is preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential to delivering outstanding

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license
• Two or more years of pharmacy tech experience
• Strong customer service, professionalism, and teamwork
• Excellent written and spoken communication
• Computer experience mandatory; proficient with pharmacy software

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate claims and fill prescriptions efficiently
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluate information for completeness and accuracy
• Record medical histories with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Deliver quality customer service to patients and respond to inquiries
• Select and count medications, label, and place completed prescription for pharmacist verification
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptions efficiently.
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
• Record medical histories while maintaining confidentially and compliance with HIPPA regulations.
• Deliver quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests.
• Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriate container, create pharmacy label, and places completed prescription in area for pharmacist to verify.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• Two or more years of pharmacy tech experience.
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• In good standing with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
• Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
