Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a pharmacist to join our clinical team in a hospital setting. The role focuses on patient-centered pharmaceutical care, drug information delivery to nurses and physicians, and ensuring safe therapy through monitoring interactions and contraindications.

The position supports a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics, and participates in both distributive and clinical pharmacy activities during standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
  • Good communication skills.

Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

  • One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
