Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our clinical pharmacy team. The role emphasizes patient-oriented services, drug information, and safe, effective pharmacotherapy across all ages.

Responsibilities include collaborating with nurses and physicians, reviewing drug interactions, contraindications, and optimizing therapy. Evening/weekend coverage is not required; standard hours are 8a-4:30p.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Preferred: 1 year hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services and drug information to nurses, physicians and other health care providers.
  • Advise on drug interactions, contraindications and safe drug therapy.
  • Serve patients across all ages including neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications
  1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Preferred:
  1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
  2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
  3. Good communication skills.
