Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our clinical pharmacy team. The role involves providing drug information, advising on interactions and contraindications, and delivering patient-focused pharmaceutical services to diverse populations.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD from an accredited school, with at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience and strong communication skills. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serves patients across age groups, including neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications
  • REQUIRED:1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • PREFERRED:1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
  • 2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
  • 3. Good communication skills.
Work Hours:

8AM-4:30PM
