Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to join our hospital-based pharmacy team in Atlanta. You will provide pharmaceutical services, offer drug information, and support safe therapy across all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.

The role emphasizes patient-focused clinical services, collaboration with nurses and physicians, and ensuring optimal drug therapy with attention to interactions and contraindications.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • One year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
  • Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.
  • Advise on drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure safe drug therapy.
  • Serve all patients across neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Schedule:

  • M-F 6a-6p
    • Sat-Sun 8a-430p (up to one weekend per month)
Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. PREFERRED:1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.

2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.

3. Good communication skills.
