Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority seeks a licensed pharmacist to compound and dispense medications in a hospital setting. You will consult with medical staff on drug interactions and patient histories, answer patient questions, and maintain accurate pharmacy records.

Minimum training includes a Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD (or pharmacy bachelor's), with residency preferred. SC licensure and BLS certification required; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• Pharmacy residency completion preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
