Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications in a hospital setting, advising clinical teams on drug interactions and patient histories. You will answer patient questions about dosages and ensure accurate records while complying with regulatory and hospital procedures.

Licensure in SC, a PharmD or PharmD-equivalent degree, and BLS certification are required, with residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required or equivalent.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy; licensure in place upon hire or within 90 days.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy; licensure in place upon hire or within 90-days of hire.
