Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a pharmacist to compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a hospital setting. You will consult with medical staff on drug interactions and patient history, and answer patient questions on medications and dosage.

Requires Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD (or Bachelor's in pharmacy) with SC pharmacist licensure and BLS certification. Evening shifts, 40 hours/week, hourly pay. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy acceptable with licensure.
• Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the SC Board of Pharmacy.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
