Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a licensed pharmacist to dispense and compound prescribed drugs in a hospital setting. You will consult with medical staff on drug interactions and patient history, and answer patient questions on medications and dosages.

Minimum education is a Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD with SC licensure. Residency preferred; E-Verify participation noted; MUSC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
