Job summary

Meijer Inc. pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to fill prescriptions accurately and maintain strong relationships with patients and the healthcare team. You will mentor technicians and ensure high standards of patient care within a Meijer pharmacy environment.

The role requires a Doctorate of Pharmacy, state licensure, CPR certification, and experience in Retail/Community Practice. Immunization services will be part of clinical duties and patient education is a focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification.
• Retail/Community Practice.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Perform and oversee immunizations and clinical services where allowed.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer Policies and Procedures and state/federal laws.
