Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to practice in a patient-centered, clinically oriented environment. The role focuses on safe, accurate dispensing, building relationships with patients and supporting the Meijer Pharmacy team.

The pharmacist will lead and educate technicians, ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal regulations, and participate in clinical services such as immunizations. Licensing in the practice state is required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and licensure in the current state of practice.
• Immunization certification is required (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members and expand the pharmacy business.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Meijer policies/procedures and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as an agent of change.
• Prioritize workload with strong organizational skills.
• Listen to patients and resolve needs, delivering excellent customer service.
• In absence of pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
