Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Serving as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts and coaching the team on performance.
• Assuming Pharmacy Manager duties when acting as the primary pharmacist on duty.
• Ensuring safe prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences through empathy and collaboration with the health care team.
• Proactively offering immunizations and supporting technicians to learn immunization.
• Managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain products and protecting patient safety.
• Ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalating issues appropriately.
• Maintaining scheduling and contributing to a safe, inclusive team environment.
• Maintaining relevant clinical and technical skills and pursuing CMEs as needed.
• Supporting access to care and pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible.
