Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a pharmacist to lead the operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care for all patients. The role acts as a professional resource for the team across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.

Eligible candidates must hold a Georgia Pharmacist license and have at least two years of clinical pharmacy experience, with ASHP residency or board certification preferred; weekend coverage is required

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.
• ASHP-Accredited PGY1/PGY2 residency or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff to provide pharmaceutical care.
• Acts as a professional resource for the pharmacy team.
• Serves all patients including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.

PREFERRED

• ASHP- Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area.
• Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred.
• Previous management experience.
