Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to lead the Pharmacy Staff in delivering pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages at our Atlanta facility.

The role requires clinical expertise and leadership to support neonates through geriatrics on site. The ideal candidate will have an active Georgia Pharmacist license, a PharmD from an accredited school, and at least two years of clinical experience, with preferred residency training and board certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Two years of clinical pharmacy experience.
• ASHP PGY1/PGY2 residency or equivalent preferred.
• Pharmacy board certification preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff to provide pharmaceutical care.
• Acts as a professional resource for the team and patients.
• Serves all patients across age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
• Pharmacist will work three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12).

Responsibilities

As part of the Health care team, leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff so as to provide pharmaceutical care. Acts as a professional resource. Serves all patients, including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adults and geriatrics.

The Pharmacist will be working three 3x12 hour shifts/week.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.

PREFERRED

• ASHP- Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area.
• Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred.
• Previous management experience.
