Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. You will provide drug information, ensure safe therapy, and support clinicians across neonate to geriatric patients.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy, Georgia Pharmacist License, and hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred. Weekend work and 12-hour shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Georgia Pharmacist License.
• One year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Retail pharmacy experience acceptable and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians and other health care providers.
• Advises about drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy.
• Serves neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• 1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• 2. Georgia Pharmacist License

PREFERRED

• 1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• 2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
• 3. Good communication skills.
