Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to lead the operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care for neonates to geriatrics. The role requires a Georgia Pharmacist license and at least 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience.

Preferred candidates may have an ASHP PGY1/PGY2 residency or board certification and prior management experience. Work hours include 3:30pm–12am with weekend requirements to support patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.
• Preferred: ASHP-accredited PGY1/PGY2 residency or fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff to provide pharmaceutical care across patient populations.
• Serves as a professional resource for patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

As part of the Health care team, leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff so as to provide pharmaceutical care. Acts as a professional resource. Serves all patients, including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.

PREFERRED

• ASHP- Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area.
• Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred.
• Previous management experience.
