Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a pharmacist to lead the pharmacy staff, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care for patients across all ages from neonates to geriatrics. The role requires an active Georgia Pharmacist license and at least two years of clinical pharmacy experience.

Work hours are 7:30a-6pm with rotating weekend requirements. Preferred candidates may have ASHP PGY1/PGY2 residencies or board certifications and prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.
• ASHP residency/board certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff to provide pharmaceutical care.
• Acts as a professional resource for all patients across age groups (neonates to geriatrics).

Responsibilities

As part of the Health care team, leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff so as to provide pharmaceutical care. Acts as a professional resource. Serves all patients, including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.

PREFERRED

• ASHP- Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area.
• Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred.
• Previous management experience.
