Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and clinical services in our pharmacy. You will use our pharmacy computer system for data entry and third party adjudication, while assisting with inventory management and patient care under supervision.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school with an intern license, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate empathy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program.
• Pharmacy intern license required in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions using pharmacy computer system and third party adjudication.
• Manage inventory, balance on hand, and vendor relations including chargebacks and transfers.
• Perform clinical services under the supervision of a pharmacist.
