Job summary

Northside Hospital, a leading acute-care facility in the Atlanta area, seeks a pharmacy professional to deliver clinical and distributive pharmaceutical services. You will provide drug information to nurses, physicians and other health care providers to support safe, effective patient care.

The role emphasizes advising on drug interactions, contraindications, and other critical information to optimize therapy across age groups from neonates to geriatrics, within a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• One year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred.
• Good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians and other health care providers.
• Advise on drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure safe and optimal drug therapy.
• Serve patients of all ages including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

REQUIRED:

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

PREFERRED:

1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.

2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.

3. Good communication skills.
