Job summary

NuvemRx is hiring a Pharmacist-in-Charge and Pharmacy Manager in Bronx, New York. The role leads clinical and operational pharmacy activities within a community health center, partnering with health center providers, managing day-to-day operations, and shaping patient experience.

The position reports to NuvemRx Pharmacy leadership and collaborates with the health center’s clinical staff to deliver high-quality care. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with NY licensure or eligibility.
• Experience managing pharmacy operations with patient care and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
• Able to work independently with ownership and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, workflow, inventory, and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA.
• Oversee dispensing, verification, and documentation practices.
• Hire, onboard, and develop pharmacy staff to maintain care standards.
• Partner with health center staff to expand services and outcomes.
