Job summary

Janus Rx seeks a registered Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead the Pharmacy Department for a growing family-owned pharmacy. The PIC will supervise staff, oversee prescription fulfillment, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate with the Director of Outpatient Pharmacy.

The role requires strong communication, budgeting and inventory oversight, with a focus on serving an underserved Behavioral Health population. Hours are M-F, 8a-5p, no nights, weekends, or major holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a School of Pharmacy accredited by ACE; Baccalaureate or PharmD degree required.
• Current and valid registration and licensure by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmacy operations, including data entry, prescription fulfillment, final verification, and dispensing.
• Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards across all patient age groups.
• Directs purchasing and inventory management of medications and supplies.
• Participates in budgeting, education, and human resource activities.
• Maintains records for medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
