Job summary

Institutional Pharmacy Solutions (IPS), a pharmacist-owned subsidiary of Mims Management Group, seeks a Pharmacist in Charge to lead the Pharmacy Department. The PIC will oversee dispensing, compliance, inventory, budgeting, and quality assurance across multiple locations, with no night shifts and holidays off.

The ideal candidate holds an ACPE-accredited degree (PharmD or BS), a current pharmacist license, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist in Charge must hold ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD or BS).
• Current and valid Pharmacist license by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• MTM training/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all aspects of pharmacy workflow including data entry, prescription fulfillment, final verification, and dispensing.
• Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards for all age groups.
• Directs purchase and inventory maintenance of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Participates in budgeting, education and human resources activities.
• Maintains records for medications and supplies ordered by physicians.
• Communicates effectively and performs detailed work.
