Omnicell is seeking a Pharmacist-In-Charge to lead a specialty pharmacy team in Richmond, VA. You will provide expert patient care, supervise operations, and drive continual improvement while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Virginia state pharmacy board examination completed.
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Virginia.
• Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services.
• Lead the pharmacy team and own pharmacy operations with a focus on continual improvement.
• Build relationships with local physicians and the medical community to ensure safe dispensing.

Pharmacy Hours and Location

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• We are located at: 719 North 25th St. Ste 101, Richmond, VA 23223

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
• Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more
• Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare

What You’ll Bring

Basic Requirements

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of Virginia state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Virginia
• Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in pharmacy management
