Omnicell is seeking a Pharmacist-In-Charge to lead the Specialty Pharmacy team and ensure top-tier patient care in a community setting. You will drive efficient and compliant pharmacy operations while serving within a global organization committed to innovation in medication management.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Indiana state pharmacy board examination completed.
• Pharmacist license current in Indiana.
• Up-to-date continuing education requirements.
• Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and pharmacy consulting services with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
• Own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team's development.
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.
• Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare.

Hours and Location

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (Lunch 11:30-12:30)
• We are located at 205 N. Tillotson Suite A, Muncie IN 47304

What You'll Bring

Basic Requirements

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of Indiana state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Indiana
• Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
• Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in pharmacy management

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
