Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team in Salisbury, MD. You’ll contribute to the community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure efficient, high-quality pharmacy operations within a global organization focused on medication management.

You will provide personalized patient care, build relationships with local physicians, and drive continual improvement in pharmacy practices while staying current with regulations and specialty disease

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of Maryland state pharmacy board examination.
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Maryland.
• Up to date on any continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
• Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What You’ll Bring

Basic Requirements:

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of Maryland state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Maryland
• Up to date on any continuing education requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy
• Specialty pharmacy experience

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds

Base Compensation: $107,686.00 to $125,000.00 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as location, education, experience, and skillset.
