Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Pharmacist-In-Charge to lead the Specialty Pharmacy team in Redding, CA. You will drive efficient operations, provide expert patient care, and supervise pharmacy staff in a foundation of compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires CA PharmD or BS Pharmacy, CA board exam completion, an active CA license, and 3+ years in practice; 2+ years in management are preferred. Excellent benefits and a supportive team environment are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of California state pharmacy board examination.
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in California.
• Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements.
• Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.
• Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
• Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.
• Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare.

Hours and Location

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (closed from 12 to 1 for lunch)

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications:

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

For California applicants only, the salary range for this role is $167,000–$177,000 annually, plus eligibility for a 12% annual bonus.
