Pharmacy1st Health in MD is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold top-tier patient care. This role drives clinical services, supervises staff, and maintains operational and financial performance in a fast-growing startup environment.

The PIC will oversee compliance, mentor staff, expand clinical programs, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize outcomes, while maintaining documentation and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 2 years of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development.

Responsibilities

We operate across multiple states and are rapidly expanding a network of rural clinics co-located with pharmacies. Our goal is to deliver scalable, high-quality care while improving access, outcomes, and cost efficiency.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the highest standards of patient care. The PIC will play a critical leadership role in managing clinical services, supervising staff, and maintaining the operational and financial performance of the pharmacy. • Maintain prompt, professional, and effective communication with company leadership on a daily basis through email, text, and phone communication as operational needs require.

• Collaborate closely with executive and operational leadership teams to support rapid growth initiatives, compliance readiness, staffing coordination, and continuous service improvement.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Wage: $65-$70 per hour
