Job summary

BlinkRx is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our closed-door fulfillment team. You will clinically verify prescriptions, counsel patients by phone, and collaborate with prescribers to ensure safe, timely medication access.

This role emphasizes high-volume processing, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional teamwork. Qualified candidates hold a PharmD, Missouri license, and strong English skills; Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong command of English; bilingual Spanish preferred for patient counseling.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness and dosing accuracy.
• Validate data entry by technicians and ensure transcription accuracy from orders.
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a closed-door setting prior to shipment.
• Conduct daily prospective drug utilization reviews to resolve clinical flags before fulfillment.
• Handle specialty medication requirements including cold-chain verification.
• Provide proactive outbound patient counseling and document all interactions in the system.
• Collaborate with prescribers on substitutions and formulary alternatives to reduce delays.
• Supervise technicians and monitor quality, coaching as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state/federal regulations, and BlinkRx policies.
