Job summary

King Soopers in Colorado is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide exceptional service in a safe, compliant setting. You will administer immunizations, dispense medications, review prescriptions, and ensure accuracy while supervising technicians and collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy, demonstrate strong communication, organization, and meticulous attention to detail, and meet state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to providing customer service that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated.
• Administer immunizations following standing orders and procedures.
• Dispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and laws.
• Review prescriptions to determine formulas and ingredients needed.
• Verify new medication against patient profile for interactions.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns for accuracy.
• Support promotions in consultation with the Pharmacy Manager.
• Follow safety, HIPAA, DEA procedures and maintain compliance.
