Job summary

King Soopers in Colorado is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team. You will provide patient-centered care, administer immunizations, dispense medications, and ensure prescription accuracy in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, guiding technicians, and upholding HIPAA and safety standards while supporting promotions and community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and professional interaction with customers.
• Administer immunizations per Kroger standing orders and procedures.
• Dispense medications pursuant to prescriptions and applicable laws and policies.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and ingredient needs.
• Verify new medication against patient profile to prevent interactions.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns for accuracy of prescriptions.
• Support promotions in consultation with the Pharmacy Manager.
• Follow safety, regulatory and HIPAA requirements.
