Job summary

King Soopers in Colorado is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care in a safe, welcoming environment. You will dispense medications, administer immunizations following standing orders, and supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns.

This role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, teamwork, and ongoing safety programs. A PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy and a valid license are required; state and federal laws including HIPAA and DEA guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong planning, organizational and attention to detail.
• Driver's license and ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service with professionalism and ethical conduct.
• Administer immunizations per standing orders and complete clinical services.
• Dispense medications per prescriptions, ensure accuracy and safety.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, review prescriptions.
• Maintain quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and safety.
