Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: ACPE-approved college of Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• Pharmacy informatics experience, report writing experience and analytics experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Pharmacist or eligible to become licensed within 4 months of hire date in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care through direct operational and clinical services within hospital and pharmacy policy.
• Oversees pharmacy support personnel; may function as a lead pharmacist to monitor workload and workflow.
• Provides lab review, clinical services, pharmacy consult, patient education and documentation.
• Delivers experiential education, evaluation and training for technicians, students and new employees.
• Represents the department in integrating pharmaceutical care throughout the patient’s continuum of care.
• Responsible for regulatory oversight and compliance with Board of Pharmacy and other agencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
