Job summary

Prisma Health seeks a Pharmacist at Greenville Memorial Hospital to provide direct clinical pharmacy services and ensure safe medication use. You will communicate with prescribers, educate patients, and support pharmacy operations to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist or eligible to become licensed within 4 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree from ACPE-approved college of Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate medication order-entry, drug distribution, drug administration and patient care.
• Reviews prescriptions for safety, appropriateness and clinical efficacy.
• Performs education on medications and develops care plans for patients.
• Oversees pharmacy support personnel and may act as lead pharmacist.
• Responds to drug information requests with concise, timely responses.
• Participates in pharmacist on-call program where applicable.
