Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to perform clinical and professional pharmaceutical work in compounding and dispensing drugs and IV supplies. You will review prescriptions for accuracy and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy.

You will provide drug interaction guidance, monitor adverse effects, and analyze prescribing trends to promote patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• 1 year of licensed pharmacist experience preferred.
• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review and evaluate patient effectiveness and adverse effects.
• Provide information regarding drug interactions and potential side effects.
• Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.

Education

Pharmacist license in state

One year of licensed pharmacist experience preferred

• Current registration and/or license as a Pharmacist in stateof practice required
• One (1) year of experience working as a licensed pharmacistpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
