Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medication Aide to administer prescribed medications under a licensed nurse, document administration in the patient’s medical record, and assist with general clerical duties in healthcare facilities.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR if applicable, health certificate per contract or regulation, being at least 18, and 1 year of medication aide/tech experience preferred. Travel assignments in Colorado available.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as medication aide or medication tech preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Administers medications to patients as directed and documents the administration to the patient's medical record.
• May assist with general clerical duties.
