Job summary

Meijer in Terre Haute, IN seeks a Relief Pharmacist licensed in Indiana to lead patient care and pharmacy operations. You will fill prescriptions, mentor technicians, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws while maintaining positive relationships with patients and staff.

In this role you will oversee clinical services such as immunizations and stand in for the pharmacist in charge when needed, ensuring service excellence and safe, accurate dispensing.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and registered in Indiana.
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy policies, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to supervise technicians and coordinate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold technicians accountable and mentor them for effective teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and drive continuous improvement in operations.
• Prioritize workload with excellent organizational skills.
• Listen to patient needs and provide attentive service.
• In the absence of the PIC, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.

What You'll Be Doing

What You Bring With You (Qualifications)

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, working knowledge of policies and procedures, understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates.
