Position Summary & Responsibilities

Direct, manage, and supervise daily pharmacy operations in hospital and retail settings

Develop and monitor operational and financial performance measures

Implement, evaluate, and update departmental policies and procedures

Supervise, train, and mentor staff for professional growth and performance

Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, orientation, and continuing education programs

Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards

Requirements

Pharmacist license (state of practice) – Required; Arizona license preferred

BLS certification – Required

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy – Required; PharmD and 1-year residency – Preferred

Minimum 5 years professional experience with 2 years management experience

Hospital experience – Required

Licensed to administer immunizations and emergency medications – Preferred
