Veterans in Healthcare in Little Rock, AR seeks a licensed pharmacist with a PharmD to evaluate, design, implement, monitor and modify patient-specific pharmacotherapy. The pharmacist provides clinical support to other professionals and ensures proper preparation, storage and delivery of medications within the hospital system.
Responsibilities include assisting the Clinical Coordinator and Directors in medication management initiatives, and precepting IPPE/APPE students as eligible.
Shift: Weekend Option
Working Hours: Weekends (Sat & Sun) 7:30am to 4pm
A pharmacist who has earned a B.S. Pharm. or Pharm.D. degree and is licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Arkansas will evaluate, recommend, design, implement, monitor, and/or modify patient-specific pharmacotherapy. The pharmacist will provide clinical assistance to other healthcare professionals, ensure proper preparation, storage, and delivery of medications, and assist the Clinical Coordinator, Supervisors, and Director of Pharmacy in hospital and/or system-wide medication management initiatives on an ongoing basis.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree preferred.
Active license to practice Pharmacy from the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy (in good standing).
Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY‑1 Residency program preferred.
Eligible to precept IPPE and/or APPE students from ACPE accredited Colleges of Pharmacy.
This job will be authorized 0.01 hours bi‑weekly.
