Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Arkansas seeks a licensed pharmacist to evaluate and manage patient-specific pharmacotherapy while providing clinical assistance to healthcare professionals. This role involves ensuring proper medication management and supporting medication initiatives. Candidates should possess a Pharm.D. or B.S. Pharm. degree and preferably have completed an ASHP accredited residency program. A commitment to patient care and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Arkansas.
  • Active license to practice Pharmacy from the Arkansas Board.
  • Completion of ASHP accredited PGY-1 Residency program preferred.

Summary:
A pharmacist who has earned a B.S. Pharm. or Pharm.D. degree and is licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Arkansas will evaluate, recommend, design, implement, monitor, and/or modify patient-specific pharmacotherapy. The pharmacist will provide clinical assistance to other healthcare professionals. The pharmacist will ensure proper preparation, storage, and delivery of medications. The pharmacist will also assist the Clinical Coordinator, Supervisors, and Director of Pharmacy in hospital and/or system-wide medication management initiatives on an ongoing basis.

Other information:
Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree preferred. Active license to practice Pharmacy from the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy (in good standing).Completion of ASHP accredited PGY-1 Residency program preferred. Eligible to precept ippe and/or APPE students from ACPE accredited Colleges of Pharmacy.

This job will be authorized0.01 hours bi-weekly.
